Clarification of EWE payment

Dear All,

This is just to clarify that the 'Esplendor Weekend Escapade' (EWE) shall be absolutely FREE for all Esplendorians!

The idea is that the total costs of the EWE shall be borne by Parents contribution (on free will basis!).

Any parents who wishes to join the EWE would also have to pay their own way - the E-BP secretariat should be informed in order to make the necessary arrangement (for the rooms and Saturday's dinner).

The 'E-BP' Secretariat is helmed by Puan Faridah Hanum (mum of Farah Amani) and she could be reached at fhanum@hotmail.com or mobile number : 019-350 6069.

We publish herewith the itinerary (and related costs) for next weekend.

This itinerary is virtually 'firmed' with just some minor additional details to be added when they become available.

The most important bit is the 'related costs' - i have contacted some of the parents (those without an email address provided to me by Amzar) to brief them about the EWE -the others (with emails), i shall contact via email, requesting them to refer to this website and also personally by telephone.

We have confirmed with the Esplendor Treasurer that the RHB Bank account is currently 'dormant' - thus, it is now hoped that all contributions could be made directly to the stiudent's (by their respective parents) whom shall then forward it to me or they could be banked into my Maybank account as follows :

Introduction to Esplendor Motivation Weekend

7th January 2012

Dear Esplendor Parents,

My name is Mohamad Izham bin Ismail and parent of Siti Soraya (5 Amanah).

I was present at the 'Youth to Youth' programme conducted.by Esplendor under the guidance of Cikgu Rama on 26/11/2011 at Universiti Tun Husein Onn, Segamat, Johor Darul Ta'zim.

As it happens, the guest of honour then was another Esplendor parent, YB Dato' Hamzah bin Zainuddin, parent of Amirul Irfan - we compared notes and together with Cikgu Rama, feels that Esplendor could perhaps do with a bit of parental moral support and guidance.

This is to try and provide the impetus and further encouragement to the batch as a whole in their effort to excel in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination come November 2012.

For your information, I have had a chat with the Director of Studies, Dr Chia Keng Boon whom had given his approval in principl to the formation of the Esplendor Batch Parents (E-BP) grouping subject to his discussion with the faculty and advisers.

We are heartened by the support from the management and as the opening act is proposing that we kick start the very important year 2012 with a weekend motivation workshop (from Saturday 14^th January 2012 to Sunday 15^th January 2012) – as a refresher for the examination year.

The detailed itinerary and related costs will be posted soon - as this is a Esplendor Batch Parent's initiative, we hope there will be sufficient support from the parents in order to make this weekend a success.
